Sheridan Construction was contracted to construct a new 19,657 SF government office building for the Houston County Board of Commissioners. The single-story facility includes office and storage space for three different government entities. Scope of work included site grading, storm drainage, excavation, paving, and concrete walks. The building included a structural cast-in-place concrete foundation, structural steel frame, bar joist, metal deck, and light gauge metal framing systems.  The building envelope and exterior included a storefront framing/glazing system, brick veneer, single-ply roofing system, and EIFS. Interior finishes included carpet and LVT flooring, painted gypsum wallboard, acoustical ceilings, plastic laminate-covered cabinets, hard tile, and exposed paint structure.

Sheridan Construction did a great job at managing our budget. It was critical for us to have a team that would work within the budget that we presented and not ask for more money.
