Sheridan Construction was contracted to perform design-build services for a custom designed state-of-the-art equine treatment and rehabilitation hospital in Madison, Georgia. The project was an addition to an existing equine clinic and featured custom specifications throughout including a spacious exam room with animal stocks; covered outdoor rehabilitation exercise ring; indoor stalls designed for safety and ease of accessibility each equipped with heaters, fans, fly systems and infrared lights for obstetric cases; and a surgery stall outfitted with a crane lift system and a hydraulic-lift table. Total project size was 19,000 SF on a 1-acre job site. Sheridan’s work on the Piedmont Equine Rehabilitation Center received First Place honors as an Associated General Contractors 2019 Build Georgia Award project.
