The University of Georgia submitted the recently completed Spring Street project for a Historic Athens Preservation Award, and it won in the Outstanding Adaptive Reuse of a Historic Building category! Projects in this category are judged on the basis of sensitivity to the building’s character-defining features and architectural integrity, innovative design solutions, and impact on the local community. Congratulations to Project Manager Harrison Parker, Superintendent Chris Bailey, Senior Estimator Richard Cazort, and the design team at Lord Aeck Sargent for their work on this award-winning project!
