Sheridan Construction and the Associated General Contractors of Georgia recently presented checks to Mentoring a Girl in Construction (MAGIC), Inc., supporting its summer camps for high school girls. MAGIC is a free, one-week day camp that introduces high school girls to careers in construction. The camp offers girls a nurturing and supportive environment to explore and develop basic skills in carpentry, electrical, welding, and other industry-related trade skills. The Central Georgia MAGIC camp took place June 7-11 at the W.S. Hutchings College and Career Academy in Macon.
