Sheridan Construction submitted and won the bid to build the new Yancey Bros Facility in Macon, Georgia. The project contains a ~55,000 sf building which includes three metal building structures; a service shop, warehouse, and hydraulic cylinder shop. There is also a structural steel portion which houses the business offices. It also includes ~10,000 sf metal building structure (track shop) and ~8,000 sf metal building structure (wash bay). The entire site is surrounded with 12” thick exterior concrete paving which totaled in ~8000 cubic yards of concrete. This project was on a very tight schedule from day one but with team coordination the project was completed on schedule.
