I’ve never wanted to be anything else; nothing is more exciting or romantic to me than this act of creation, to look at a building and know that I had a part in bringing it into being.
My motivation for building started very early when I got a set of tools at age two. I loved them from the start. I just feel compelled to build. That motivation was taken to another level, however, by my parents and extended family. I saw them build community and build up the people around them and it transformed my understanding of what it meant to be a builder. Their example is the standard that I try to meet every day.
I saw my parents really listen whenever they engaged others and I saw the wisdom of their actions in the results that they achieved. In our business we try to listen that intently to really understand and meet the client’s needs.
Two things: that our clients really felt we put their interests first, and secondly that we as a company improved the lives of those we worked with.

Working at Sheridan Construction is like being with family. I know if a problem arises, anyone will jump in and help. I like the “can do’ atmosphere that we have.
The Macon community is the right size for my family. It’s not too large but large enough to have great shopping and entertainment. The weather is great most of the time. Macon is a friendly city and it’s easy to make new friends.
They did a great job and understood my needs from day one.
